This is the first book in our series for kindergarteners and other beginner readers.  The theme for this book is Colors.   This book introduces level one Dolch words such as: I, see, a, cat, is, the, black, like, tree, big, bird, blue, in, hat, purple, bear, brown, duck, yellow, car, green, ball, orange, pig, pink, heart, red and has.

“I See A Cat” introduces 30+  sight words, includes 30+  beautiful illustrations (original water colors) and 30+ pages.  Also available in Spanish!

This book is divided into three chapters with a vocabulary list at the end of each chapter for your young reader to review the newly introduced words.  We recommend that, soon after the child has read the book, you visit this page and print out the following activities to promote long term retention.
